Where is Your HOPE?

Don’t be distracted…where’s your hope?

Take Personal Inventory

Take personal inventory. Take a second and really take note of how YOU are doing. What are your thoughts? Your words? With whom or what are your fears and anxieties tied? How patient are you with your children…your spouse…others? Whose salvation are you burdened over? Are you intentionally walking with the Lord with no known sin in your own life? (Hard questions to ponder!) When are you spending time crying out to God alone, and reading His Word? Where are you spending your time, gifts and resources? These are (social media wise) hypothetical questions for you to ponder in your own heart.

Our Responsibility is to Invite a Heart Change

God says He sees and knows our heart. Our responsibility is to invite a heart-change by allowing Him in. I know I need to be aware of who & what I allow to steal my HOPE as well as asking God to help me see what I need to change, that I may follow Him in HIS way, the everlasting way, today and every day.

Where is your hope?

Where is your hope? Listen closer to your thoughts; our fears show up in what we’re telling ourselves. When our hope isn’t steadfastly fixed on the Lord, what we hear in our own head tells on us. But even then, we have hope as the Lord has giving us instruction to set us on the right path once again. Be brave, friends, and allow the Lord to redirect your faith from fear to following after God.

Redirect your Faith

Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;24And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

My Hope is Built on Jesus

My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less

(On Christ The Solid Rock)

Robert Critchley

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousnessMy hope is built on nothing less
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

When darkness veils his lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil

His oath, his covenant, his blood
Supports me in the ‘whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand…

sea were hushed.
